📺 Google Stadia: First wave of games available at launch and pricing! | Full E3 2019 Presentation

Yeah, it is a PlayStation 4 blog, but I like what Google is doing with Stadia and I want to share this with you. Also, I think I would like to be one of the early adopters, but I need to know first if the device can be used outside the first 14 countries that will enjoy Stadia at launch because Romania is not one of them. 🙁

For those who turned on the internet yesterday :P, Google Stadia is a-sort-of PlayStation Now – an online game streaming service that allows users to play video games up to 4K in a browser, using a controller as PS4 and XBOX have. No need to download anything, just log in to Stadia from your computer and that’s it. The tricky part is that you need to have at least 10MB download speed.

I just wonder how many people will upgrade their internet connection to play games on Stadia…

Below you have a video with the latest news about Google Stadia, from E3 2019. I have edited the entire stream into a 20 minutes video, by speeding the game trailers included in it. I have noticed that Ubisoft is in love with Google, and, as a supportive partner, it will participate at Stadia’s launch this fall with some of the best titles, like Division 2, Assassin’s Creed, or the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint, also.

Stadia will be available on TV (requires Google Chrome and HDMI port), desktops and laptops (requires macOS X 10.9 or Windows 7), tablet (requires Google Chrome browser), and Pixels Smart Phones, starting with the brand new Pixel 3. You have seen some great games listed in the video, like the ones I have already named, or Gylt also, and I have found on some internet sources a larger list with all the games announced and confirmed for Google Stadia. The ones in Bold are currently unreleased, according to IGN.

  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Ubisoft
  • Baldur’s Gate 3 – Larian Studios
  • Borderlands 3 – 2K
  • Darksiders Genesis – THQ Nordic
  • Destiny 2 – Bungie
  • Doom 2016 – Bethesda Softworks
  • Doom Eternal – Bethesda Softworks
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – Bandai Namco
  • Farming Simulator 19 – Giants Software
  • Final Fantasy XV – Square Enix
  • Football Manager – Sega
  • Get Packed – Coatsink
  • GRID – Codemasters
  • Gylt – Tequila Works
  • Just Dance – Ubisoft
  • Metro Exodus – Deep Silver
  • Mortal Kombat 11 – Warner Bross. IE
  • NBA 2K – 2K
  • Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – nWay Games
  • Rage 2 – Bethesda Softworks
  • Samurai Shodown – SNK
  • The Elder Scrolls Online – Bethesda Softworks
  • Thumper – Drool
  • Tomb Raider Definitive Edition – Square Enix
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider – Square Enix
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider – Square Enix
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint – Ubisoft
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 – Ubisoft
  • Trials Rising – Ubisoft
  • The Crew 2 – Ubisoft
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood – Bethesda Softworks

It seems like Bethesda Softworks and Ubisoft had a contest or something. 🙂 Bethesda Softworks came with 5 titles, Ubisoft prepared 6 titles, one of them still being under development.
